Download Project without S7 (only SD card)

filipefs Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Dear Colleagues, I have a PLC system with a CPU1511-1 PN and a HMI TP1500 Comfort. I would like to know about the possibility to download the project on both CPU and HMI without using Simatic S7. Is it possible to transfer the project via email or uploading the files, and then the person on site can save the project on the SIMATIC SD card of the CPU and HMI? Is it possible to access the Simatic S7 Memory program card of the CPU on the laptop normal SD drive? Thanks.

Denilson Pegaia Platinum Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 8/27/2024 Posts: 4347 Rating: (1442)	Hi, for HMI you can use pack and go option (http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/52002766). for the PLC, I don't know a official way. I suggest however a test: if you have a SD card and save the project on your office you can compare (before/after) the changed archives, and send these diferences to someone at the destination to copy to a new SD card.
