Hello Galo003789 , As you can see in this compatability list, the latest STEP 7 is not released to work with 64-bit operating systems. So, why would you worry about PC adapter if STEP7 is not working with 64-bit systems. Do you have it working?! Maybe you should make a virtual machine that's 32-bit so you can install STEP7 and PC adapter on it. Best regards. H-H |

Hello Galo003789, As H-H tells you that -up till now- Step 7 products are not realeased for 64-bit Operating systems. Please check this FAQ: Are STEP 7 and its optional software products compatible with Windows 7? I want to explain to you something. When you want to select the suitable operating system of the current version of Step 7 you have, you should have a look on the following FAQ: Which version of STEP 7 is compatible with which version of Microsoft Windows operating system? And also you should know which the other Simatic product you will need and what is the comptability list for these products. So, the story is not limited to Simatic Manager only. Are there lists for the compatibility of Microsoft operating systems and SIMATIC Software products? And finally I can not forget UMENCHO's tip about V5.5. May be it will solve all of these troubles. Hope this helps. Hope this helps. |
