DWORD INTO WORD???????

So the value contained in the DWORD might not be compatible with a WORD register. If you are sure that there is no valuable data above te 16th bit, simply read the lower WORD of trhe DWORD. For examplew, your DWORD is located at MD500; MD500 is composed of MB500, MB501, MB502 and MB503, You can choose to read the value in MW502 or MB500 as 2 separate WORD values... Not in all cases. dchartier Hello nadavoush; If you are sure that there is no valuable data above te 16th bit, simply read the lower WORD of trhe DWORD. As Daniel said, if the value in the DW is lower than value of 16-bit, then you can convert it to word. In this case, if you have MD500 and value of it is lower than or equal to 16-bit register, than you can found the same value of MD500 in MW 502. MW500 will equal to 0.
