MM1234 Posts: 270 Rating: (53)	Hello automation_1, if I understand your problem right, then create your project with desired connection, save it, then do the change and from menu use Project > Save as. Hope this helps.

Build one project for plc 1, save and 1 project is ready. Open the project, change the properties of the connection and do a save as, now you have 2 projects with same screens same tags but different communication protocol. Regards, Marcjan

Darius Platinum Expert Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 2957 Rating: (242)	Marcjan Open the project, change the properties of the connection and do a save as, now you have 2 projects with same screens same tags but different communication protocol. Maybe it's better so do first "Save as" and only the change properties of connection ? I'm not sure, but it can be some kind of automatic saving of the project in some time cycles. In that case you can ruin first project, so I think first doing 'Save as' is a little bit safier .

Work with the copy and all is o.k. for some time make that project the new original. Regards, Marcjan
