Hello MRkumar, I don`t know "Electrial SCADA". What do mean? It is a special software or hardware? What do you mean with Substation? PLC`s? Clients? Regards, Healthcheck |

Hello Ramesh; The products developped for the Industrial Automation & Drives division of Siemens (which supports this forum) are versatile enough so they couldbe used in other applications, such as substation (electrical) SCADA systems. But they are primarily designed for factory and process automation. The Energy division of Siemenshas some systems that are designed for substation automation, with standard network protocols for protection relay communications (IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-101 / 103 / 104) not immediately available here; they also provide stadard templates for relays and monitoring of substation systems.
