Have a look at this example and don't get too involved in it just look at the pdf and get to get a general idea then if you like have a look at the code. It contains errors to use as is though I haven't tried it on live project. Figure out first how you will be positioning. What are those nine turns equal to, conveyor distance, hoist distance, screw distance? And then do the division at the end. For example if it take 7 turns to move a conveyor a distance of 10mm and you want to position an object at 2225mm then : (2225 x 7 x 8192 x 258 ) / (9 x 10) |
