we have two servo motor that  is controlling with sinamic s120 double motor module ,diagonal saws which cutting particle board continuously,sometimes when two saw are cutting we have error in size of boards one is smaller and the other is taller than setpoint value,we compensate error by changing a parameter called (distance between two saw ) and getting feedback of a few boards by meter,we are getting good result but i know we just clear the problem but it is unsolved yet,if you have any experience please share with me ,may the encoder (for sizing board ) needs calibration?

you should first inform us which system you are using and which application for flying saws.

Siemens offers different solutions for flying saws with SIMOTION, SINAMICS (DCC) and SIMATIC T-CPU. Which one are you using? Where the technology is realized (PLC, Drive,...?)
