Energy meter (kWh) with an analog flow meter 0-10V or 4-20mA

Would that be possible with the 8.2 software ?

I am in the design phase, so free to chose the hardware.

i need a calorie counter function (energy meter) that wil calculate the number of KWH generated by a heatpump.

Therefore i want to use a analog flowsensor (Grundfos Direct Sensors VFS1 5-100 E G) flow signal 0,5 to 3.5v at flow 5-100l/min.

In my aplication the optimal flow is about 2000l/h or 33 l/min water at a temp. between 35 & 42 °C

The delta T between in and out of the heatpump is around 2°C

This sensor is a bad precondition for accuracy in the Logo controller. A difference of 2V between minimum and maximum flow to an analog input of 0..10V will reduce the resolution to 20%.

Try to find a flow meter with impulse output and use a fast counter input (max. 5kHz). The actual flow you can see with the counter threshold trigger and for the volume you take a counter.
