Hello Ignacio; If you need to document the type of memoryre quired by your different CPUs, use the search box at the right of this page, with the part number of the CPU as a searh term. You will find the CPU part number on the front of the CPU, for example. Once you have reached the Product Support page for your CPU, open the Technical Data tab, and look for the "Backup" section. Here are the contents of that section for 2 different models of CPU 315 so you can see the differences, one from the end of the 1990s, the other more recent:
This model requires a support battery, look at this FAQ for more details: What are the order numbers of the back-up batteries for the various CPUs?
You do not need a support battery for this CPU, but you must have an MMC of adequate size. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
