Is ther any product in SINAMICS similar to TSY. Customers are demanding Similar Hot Stand by application with S120 PM340 with two CU320 communicate each other on SINAMIC Link using CBE20. Thanx for the reply....I have seen application note 61866602....This appplication shows Motor is with encoder feedback......however in our application motor is without encoder....how ever I have seen in function manual topic 4.25.1 Bypass with syncronization with overlap....can we perform similar application with two PM340 with two CU320 and using VSM 10? can we measure VFD output voltage with Sins filter at VFD output and with VSM10?....Please suggest... Functuion manual has bypass application which has one drive and DOL bypass contactor....but in our case we have two PM340 and chenge over is betwwen two VFD.... Application note for hot standby is explaine with encoder on Motor...but in our application motor does not have encoder..... Can you help / suggest can we perform hot stand by application with VSM....and How? Regards Satish Shivtarkar

Satish Shivtarkar Member Joined: 6/29/2011 Last visit: 9/14/2022 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, We have tried with flying restart....but this is a Polygear pump application in textile....in flying restart it takes lot of time and the pump speed drops a lot.....we do not want any speed drop the change over should be instantaneous... Flying restart does not work....
