ERROR WHEN I OPEN A SCREEN

GEOCHRIS Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Hallo, i am working on a project where i am using a pc with WINCC FLEXIBLE 2007(RUNTIME). Sometimes in the design field when i try to open a specific screen(with name: PARA_YDRAS) it doesn't open and i am watching in VIEW->OUTPUT the message: Error : Failed to open screen PARA_YDRASB. See log file for more information. I would like to add that when i compile the project i have zero errors and zero warnings and also that in runtime this screen can open normally

The first thing I would do: Delete "temporary files" in WinCC an generate again. Also sometimes the Option "Reset WinCCflexible" is helpful, but I dont know if this option is allready available in WinCCflex2007. Next thing: Try to design the faulty screen again an watch it, wich function will be problematical.

To open it i have to delete again the temporary files and compile the project. In the last compile i have this Warning: Internal warning (detail: direct relation from FUNC_SETSYSVAR 07676d8b-ab30-4b0f-bfd2-db5e2903000b to object eb73c862-8945-4700-8b79-1bd8fb40bbf0 was skipped, failed to get target object key from target id).

Hello Chris, this kinds of Warnings are really a pain in the ass. Sometimes it is not possible to find the reason for it. Do you try a doubbleclick onto the Warning message to find the location? I have also this problems (with 2005 an also 2007) and sometimes have to create a new project to fix it. Did you have a chance to update to 2008? Otherwise, try a support request.

I imported one picture to a screen. when i compiled it gone through with "0 errors and 0 warnings". But I wasnt able to open the page. Later i found that it was due to the lack in RAM size. I then upgraded my RAM size from 512MB to 1.5GB After that I was able to open that page. I am not sure this will suit your error. But just check it. Regards, RBM

GEOCHRIS Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	I don't think that this is the problem because the first time that this problem appeared the project was running in a pc with 2 GB RAM...
