Error when opening S7 Tech Objects

Hello,

I've re-installed my s7 and i keep getting the following error when trying to open Technological Objects in a project.

Error (1114:4097) 
Cannot access MC data.
Possible causes
-S7T Config waiting on input.
-Another application uses MC project
-MC project is read-only

I know its not the project bc someone else can open it just fine. Please advise

Which Windows are you using, exact OS? Wich language are you using? Which S7-Technology are you using, exact version? Do you have installed MS Office 2010 or 2013 64 bit version?

I installed the software and restarted my laptop - still same issue.

I just uninstalled Simatic S7 technology and will try to re-install to see if that helps.

I have been looking for information, and I would also like to ask you if you have Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable installed?

If not, I would recommend you to install it, and if you already have it, I would try to reinstall it again to see if the problem is eliminated.

I've had to install Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable, after this it still did not work. I then uninstalled S7-tech and re-installed it. After this I am able to access the tech module.
