Dear All,

I am working on a project. There are total 32 Analog inputs and 32 Digital Inputs.

Task is to take all data on PLC and display the values on Honeywell DCS system.

40 Inputs are in one premises and 24 Inputs are from second premises, distance between the two premises is about 400-450 meters. and distance of Central room where DCS is installed is about 500 meters from each premises.

i want to ask that what should I select to minimize the wiring and developing an easy system?

Extensions:

Kommunikationsmodules: 3

signalmodules can have up to 8 AI or 16 DI

But I would rather take a ET200SP. You have almost the same possibilities but it has a better performance.

ET200SP:

Maximum 12/32/64 I/O modules (depending on the CPU/interface module used, see CPU

So do you suggest me that i should use 2 ET200SP for each premises?

what should be the main controller?

as i have not worked on ET200 so please help me in making selection.
