ET200eco PN with Y-cable: How does it operate?

plcman1 Regular Member Joined: 4/14/2009 Last visit: 3/22/2024 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi I am for the first time using an ET200eco PN digital input/output and it was recommended to use the Y cable but I am not sure how it operates I connected a sensor to one side and I get the expected signal. But I am not sure what the other side is for connecting a sensor to it does nothing so I guess that I am missing the point. Any ideas please ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from ET200 ECO .

That means in the M12 connector, pins 2 and 4 are input channels. If you have a Y-connector that has internal wiring from A -> pin 4 and B -> pin2, you will get an input from both sides of the Y-connector to a different input. You should get familiar with the technical documents of the module, to understand the capabilities of the module.
