ET200SP Error with hardware configuration

Hello,

I have a IPC677E with the software CPU1508(S7-1500), and I am using the port1 of the IPC for downloading the program and the port2 to communicate with the ET200SP.

Initially I had several I/O modules on the ET200SP but all of them where unreachable. So I decided to keep it simple and just add a Server module.

When I download the program and go online I have the error on the Server Module:

A hardware component is or was inserted, but an error has occurred during module parameter assignment.

* I made sure the name of the ET200SP is the same online and offline.

* The firmware version of the Server Module or any other I/O is not displayed when I am going online. The firmware version of the Server Module matches.

What does an ET200SP station without any IO-module? that doesn´t make sense.

Anyway, I know such behaviour with such stations when configuration control is activated and there is no configuration control programmed. Have a look into the PLCs properties if the configuratoin control is activated. If yes, deactivate it, load HW-config and restart your system.

This worked. I don't know why that was activated. Now it works and I was able to add all my IO.
