Exchange hardwire cables by Profibus DP

Dear all , I need your help , my project is cement industry and the link between packing machine (simatic s7 with cpu 300 ) and the main PLC (ABB 800XA ver 5.0) by hardwire , i want to remove all hardwire cables and exchange by a communication DP profibus . please any one help me how to create this communication at ABB & SIMATIC step by step the requested handling signals as the following : 15 word send from main PLC (ABB ) to slave PLC (simatic) include all commands and set point 40 word send from slave PLC (simatic) to main PLC (ABB) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Mahmoud, if you want to use a S7-300 CPU as slave you need the GSD-file. See following FAQ: Where can I procure the GSD files for my S7-300 CPUs?With this file you can integrate the CPU as slave into your Mastersystem.regards, |
