Expansion modules AM2 and AM2 RTD

On the module specification is written 12...24V At other places one can find information that these modules are used between 230V and 12/24V modules. A bit confusing.. Best Regards, Cwetomir

But you need your own power supply of 12 ... 24 VDC. However, only further analog expansion modules or digital 12/24 VDC expansion modules may be connected to the analog expansion modules, no 230 VAC expansion modules. ixo65 Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 34238 Rating: (4262)	The reason is that with the 230 VAC devices, the bus is not electrically isolated from the supply voltage. The analog extensions have the bus galvanically isolated in their input, but not in their output. Base modules and digital expansion modules have no galvanic bus Isolation.
