I'm Using a Fail Safe Analog Input Module 6ES7336-4GE00-0AB0 & CPU 6ES7315-2FH13-0AB0 i have Simulated the Analog I/P using Variable Tables to Force Values & every Thing was Working Just Fine. When I Tried to Connect a 4-20mA Current Source to the Actual analog I/P module ,I was Supposed to read a Value From the Card on my PG but it Doesn’t read any value . Always Zero i Attached the Wiring Diagram Used and Snap Shot of the Hardware Configuration of the Module IS there any thing Different in Dealing with fail safe modules than normal modules” For example” in the H.W Config , AttachmentSM336.zip (336 Downloads) |

Dear Ammy How are You? We have Already Tried each Wiring you can imagine But No Success i have attached a Photo of the Module & a photo of the Program Blocks you can Notice that SF LED is Always ON "RED" Safe LED is Always ON "GREEN" Channel ZERO : F0 LED is OFF & H0 LED is OFF I think this SF LED "System Fault" Needs to be OFF for the Module to Work" Right? You asked me if i "Have you created the Runtime group for the F System" I Don't Know what you mean? Is it Related to the Program. Dear Cheetos, as far as I know the F-AI-module only supports the safety-mode. So you have to use a F-System, because the module sends the values using the PROFI-Safe-protocol. Have a look at chapter 3 in this document. Best regards, yy1 |

Hi Cheetos, Please find the Manual in that they have mention,access to the F-I/O you required to call the Chennel Driver block. Access via F-Driver Blocks In S7 F/FH Systems, the F-I/O are accessed via F-driver blocks rather than via the process image. One F-Module driver per F-I/O and one F-Channel driver for each F-I/O input and output channel used are required. F-Module driver The F-Module driver takes over the PROFIsafe communication between the safety program and the F-I/O. The F-Module driver is automatically placed and interconnected in the safety program by the CFC driver generator. F-Channel drivers In your safety program, the F-Channel drivers form the interface to one channel of an F-I/O and execute signal processing. There are various F-Channel drivers, depending on the F-I/O You must place and interconnect F-Channel drivers in the safety program.
