Fault with OPC in WinCC

actually i am not sure if i could understand you well but i think you try to add opc connection
between wincc's.
even if its not like that try something similar to these :

1- disable all firewalls in all computer.
2- ping machines from 1 to other (from command line ping 192.168.0.1)
3- if you can see ping response then connection is ok goto 4 else check your hardwares and goto 2 :)
4- now to use wincc opc server you need to let it go to runtime, so run wincc.
5- add channel, opc channel , run server on other computer = other computers name, opc server = OPCSERVER.WinCC
6- programs -> simatic -> simatic security control > make settings.
7- cant you see it ? then install simatic net (if it isnt installed) which comes with wincc, from it opc scout will come. Run opc scout first on local machine to connect it self, then try network conection from it.(you can use matricon opc client also which is free from matricon)

if it isnt working again then search this forum for dcom settings or just try to play with "dcomcnfg" which you can run from Run :)
