FC** is out of user range

Then Birazi Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, We are using PCS7 V7.0 SP1 and encounter the above error message when compiling. The system is an F/H system. Each time we enounter the error, we've widened the user range in the Customize menu to include the FC indicated in the error. Subsequently, however, each time we make some changes to our charts and try to recompile, we get the error message again, each time with a higher FC number. Note that the FC that is listed in the error is not an FC we create, but one that seems to be automatically generated by the compiler. Any help is appreciated.

RafaAssun Posts: 9 Rating: (3)	Hi, When I've had this problem (I don't remember the cause) I have just deleted the FCxxx (out of range) and done compilation again. After that I hadn't had this problem any more. Good Luck

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	actually in my last commissioning i experinced similar error many times. solution was deleting blocks (fcs which gives error) created by compiler manually and compiling again fully. the main thing i found was that, when i go online with an fb or fc (from block view not from cfc), when its online and i compile it at the same time or when i was online and just close it and compile it gives that error. i dont know if it fits to you :)

romeo291 Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	I also had this exact same problem as well. One cause was because of having FCs opened when I was compiling and another was because I created a datablock with a parameter inside the datablock named "T1". Apparently T1 is a reserved name for something that is being used elsewhere. Someone from Siemens support helped me with that issue.
