FC105 in CFC - PCS7

Hello, Siemens community,

I am experiencing troubles working with FC105, correctly, in CFC.

I am unable to input PIW256 to FC105 input "IN", it says wrong data.

Made some tests in LAD using the same function and it works brilliantly.

Attaching some photos showing what I'm talking about.

My question to you is, how do I connect PIW256 to FC105 input "IN" in CFC?

P.S. I am using an analog input module 7KF02.

How do you have made the assignment of this tag in symbol table?

You may not need to assign the Address inform of "PIW" for all the analog signals, 

Change the Address type as "IW X" in Address column of symbol table, (For Outputs "QW X" )

If you haven't specified that tag in symbol table, assign it on this format and try to connect after doing "synchronize with symbol table" from Chart Options,

If your problem is not resolved,Kindly brief it and post your Hardware signal module slot address details,

Thanks for taking interest in my topic.

I created a tag with name Raw_data, address IW256 and type WORD in the symbol table.

Then, in the chart, I updated the Symbol Table. It did not work again.

I am attaching a photo of the HW config.

Let me try to give some ideas too. 

May be in the CFC catalog, look for a block name W_I, a converter from Word to Integer. connect the PIW in the W input and convert it to Integer. Then, connect it in the input you want in the block.
