Hi Kbv, Yes, without generating module drivers, the installation will be ok. But, as of V8.0 during each AS download (change or full), the option to generate module drivers is set automatically. You have to disable this manually each time. Furthermore, you can get problems when replacing hardware modules because the driver concept is your connection between hardware and CFC charts, thus enabling diagnostic messages and configuration. The problem you have is that migration is not done successful. You need to update all blocks to your new PCS7 version. Watch out, this will require a full download. In order to identify the mismatch blocks, proceed as follows: 1. Go to your AS project->Blocks folder. 2. Enable View->Details. 3. Find under Column: "Author" blocks of text: "DRIVERxx", where xx means the PCS7 version. Find all blocks with an old PCS7 version and replace those by the ones in the APL Library V82. You can do this by clicking: File->Open->select column: "Libraries"->Open: "PCS7 AP Library V82" and then copy pasta the blocks to your project. If you have a master library, then update the blocks in there and synchronize with your project for consistency reasons. 4. Go to your CFC program of your master library and open a random CFC chart. Next, go to Options and select Block Types. Select the blocks from the Blocks folder and press the arrow to the right. The new blocks are being updated in CFC and when there are changes, the system will display them. Some changes require only a download change (yellow background), some will need a full download (red background). After updating the master library, you can synchronize the AS project(s) with the master library. For more information, check the following manuals. One is with use of new functions and one is without (plain upgrade): With utilization of new functions Without utilization of new functions
