Firmware update issue

Hello,

I am using an IOT2050 Advanced FS:01.

I have started the process to upgrade it to Example Image v1.1.1 in order to upgrade the firmware before upgrading it to Example Image v1.2.1.

By following the great documentation and various posts here, I was able to:

• Upgrade to Example Image v1.1.1 on eMMC and check the fw_version: 2019.01-V01.00.00.2-0-g8e86139 (screenshots 1, 2, 3)
  
  
• Start the firmware upgrading process by:
  • Removing the pre-installed update tool (screenshot 4)
  • Install the new update tool (screenshot 5)
  • Check the current firmware version (screenshot 6)
  • And launch the command to update the firmware (screenshot 7)
    

In the terminal console, I had not similar outputs as documented (screenshot 7). After rebooting and check fw_version, the firmware is still the same.

What could be the issue?

I have found my issue.

At the question:

 Warning: All U-Boot environment variables will be reset to factory settings, Continue (y/N)?

 The correct answer is y (I wrongly answered Y in capital letter)
