Firmware updating

RunarSJ Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Automation student. I am currently borrowing a Siemens 1200 PLC from my school, but it only had V1.0, thus not allowing PID regulation. I am trying to update it V2.2, were the school have a Siemens MC. The PLC is a CPU 1214C AC/DC/RLY Serial: 214-1BE30-0XB0 I encounter two problems: -When entering the MC into the PLC, the "MAINT" LED blinks, and doesn't change state. -When I try to power cycle, the "ERROR" LED begins to blink. I supply the PLC with 24V/DC power, and have a simulation board attached with eight switches for simulation. Looking forward to a reply. Regards, RJ
