Hello, Did you tried to use the totalizer FC from the following link? How can you accumulate physical flow measurements (e.g. mass flow rate, flow velocity) to an overall value? |

Hello sacheen your problem is caused by trying to add a very small amount to an ever increasing large Floating Point number. (32bit) Floating Point numbers accuracy is limited to about 6 decimals and you are now reaching this limit (have a look too at https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/14844391/how-accurately-can-i-calculate-with-real-numbers-that-are-used-in-extensive-formulas? for more on this). As far as I'm concerned, the one and only accurate totalising way is to use a digital pulse output from your flow meter, connect it to DI, set the flow meter to output a pulse for lets say each full m3 and accumulate this as a DINT value. I hope this helps |
