G120 + CU240E_2_DP Fault F30074

Hi All ,

- Recently, the fault F30074  is generated it means that communication is lost between the CU and PM Solution Power ON ...

- In the first Time i made a POWER ON, the fault is gone and we make a start for the motor, so it still running for ~ 10 min and the Same Fault  are generated again F30074.

I make a second Power on, the fault  gone, But  this time I DID not run the motor and after a few  minute the fault are generated again ,.

I don't know why and how can happen, i just check all cables are OK  ,  The CU are Normally inserted with the PM
So Please what can i check also to resolve this problem; 

Make a Factory reset  and redonwlod a Program again to the Sinamics can solve it ?

I Just removed The CU from his place and Inserted again, But when we put the +24v the Module the led of ready flashes and go to orange color fix, and in the BOP we had the message CU BUSY.

I make this actions again and agin removing and insterting the CU but the same issues the ready led stay in orange color.

we make a full cleaning to the CU, we are sure that its inserted correctly but with no result.

So I can't go en line with The Drive, because its BUSY  .

Please what can I do to fix that ? and what can i check ?

or maybe the CU is damaged.

I removed The CU from the PM and i removed the Profibus and cable of BOP -->I put the 24v in the CU ....the same result LED RDY Orange.

in the BOP message 'CU BUSY'  and its show research 250000..... don't find the CU .

So please what can be the probleme ? or is the CU are damagged ?

Hi IssamWTL, I'm with the same problem here in ArcelorMittal Tubarão (Brazil). How did you solve it? The problem was the CU?

Dear,

Try to re-download the parameters specially the profibus address. Because your CU is not communicating with the CPU of PLC.

If after it is not working please change the PM module and again download program. Because it happens due to PM is not connected with CU.

Note:- Try to Push the CU with PM by hand and switch on the Supply because sometime the connection between the CU and PM is not good.

Otherwise change only PM.

After a Power OFF and a Power ON of drives panel.

We have same problem (CU BUSY) for two CU250S-2PN.

On some other thread they say it could be the BOP-2 Operator panel.

However, removing the BOP-2 didn't work for us.

There is another solution on hardware manual

chapter 8.4 - If the converter no longer responds (power off and power on several times) in order boot to the CU with factory parameters.

But that didn't work also.

We temporary replaced the CU from other drives that we don't use at the moment. Drives are working for now. Seems to be the CU.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated to fix the faulty CU.

We are don't have any spares.

Recently faced such problem on G120 90kW CU250.
I could not decide for a long time.
Until I got to the IGT board.
If all is well with the CU, with the connection and the loop, all that remains is to repair the IGBT control board.
The error occurs in this case due to a short circuit on the IGBT control driver.
