Don't do that. Give that user docker access (add to docker group) and run kas-docker under its account.

I built a new virtual machine in UBUNTU 18_04_4. 1.

1.unzip the meta-iot2050-master zip file in the personal directory.

2.sudo apt install docker.io

3.sudo gpasswd -a $ USER docker

4.Restart the virtual machine

5.   ./ kas-docker --isar build kas-iot2050-example.yml

After Booting the Image from SD card the iot2050 seems to be not run ?!

Led power is green, led stat is green during about 10 sec but iot not respond to putty on 192.168.200.1 on X1 interface.

Try with the 2 commands (result is the same)

$ sudo dd if=build/tmp/deploy/images/iot2050/iot2050-image-example-isar-iot2050.wic.img \           of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=4M oflag=sync

Alternatively, install the bmap-tools package and run the following command which is generally faster and safer:

$ sudo bmaptool copy build/tmp/deploy/images/iot2050/iot2050-image-example-isar-iot2050.wic.img /dev/mmcblk0
