Hardware selection for TTL Feedback

Now i am having ET200s IM151-8 CPU. Is FM350-1 is compatible with this cpu? also attached the details of My ABB drive from which I will get Feedback. miami Platinum Expert Joined: 8/31/2005 Last visit: 11/13/2024 Posts: 2198 Rating: (328)	No, the FM350-1 does not match in a ET200 rack. Check if the ET200 module 1COUNT5V (http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/11425448) fits your demands.

SRITN Bronze Member Joined: 3/25/2012 Last visit: 2/16/2024 Posts: 99 Rating: (3)	Hi miami, Thanks for ur reply.Gone through the link which u provided but it confused me little. below i have have shown u the connection details of 1count 5v/500 kHz module (from website) this one is to connect encoder directly but in my condition Simulated output from my Drive. pin details as below ABB drive side Pin Name 1 CHA+ 2 CHB+ 3 CHZ+ 4 (NC) 5 DGND 6 CHA- 7 CHB- 8 CHZ- 9 (NC) Description Encoder output on a 9-pin female D-type connector count1 5v module side Here i think i no need to give any supply.as per my abb side pin configuration i have to use only 1,5,3,7,4,8 of count1 5v module? i am new to this field please guide me.

I have another doubt. i need to select a step output module for this same ABB drive pin configuration as below Pin Description 10 5V 11 DGND and Maximum Frequency 1MHz. Gone through the forum and found some details of modules in below linkhttp://w3.siemens.com/mcms/distributed-io/en/ip20-systems/et200s/io-modules/technology-modules/pages/default.aspx#Position_20Decoder_20Module_201_20SSI In this all modules are for 24V can u please tell me for 5V in ET200s? I thought to start a new thread for this question sorry dont have a time anyway this also will be helpful for someone like me.
