KayBee Posts: 241 Rating: (7)	Dear Thunder, Please see the Manual, Ch24 for Siemens PLC connection with MONITOUCH hmi. Manual is very clear. This HMI suports MPI Protocol which is easier for you to connect, and make your own MPI cable as wiring diagram also given in the manual.

As per the Product HMI IDEC HG2G is only Support the S7-200 PLC App Note: Siemens S7-200 CPU 212 It is look like from the above link. & I can't able to find the Detail About V806CD HMI Hi thunder, S7-200 PPI port, S7-200 PLC HMI Side 3 6 & 8 8 7 & 9 If you want to Communicate the S7-300/400 PLC then you have to used the CP 340 or CP341 (RK512 & 3964R Protocol ) Card for the Communication, I can say don't go with this option, it is slower & expensive & for MPI port Checked 5.2.3 Chapter, HG1F Connection on Page No 4. & I have not worked on this HMI so you have to do the Some try out on your Side. if you have any problem I can Help you on based on Manual
