Please note that a used MMC will be having information of old PLC.When yoyu insert it to another PLC, itwill try to read data from MMC which does not belong to it. That is why it continuosly blinks .... You need to format it and insert... Hope am correct... With Regards Pradeep Prabhu B

poya_xp Posts: 167 Rating: (4)	Hi hac_am2003 I have a suggestion for your problem. if you have not a SIEMENS PG you can insert MMC to the CPU that you said working correct with that and then going online how that you can see all the blocks inside the MMC and then delete all of them.after that slot the MMC to the CPU that has problem with that.i hope it works properly if not strongly you need a SIEMENS PG to formatting the MMC and be careful do not format it by another device like a PC. please let us know the results thanx

Within the next 3 seconds, you must let the switch go and set it again to "MRES". The STOP LED now blinks during the delete procedure. The data is reset to the current value from the load memory. These are the last current values loaded from the PG into the CPU or written to the load memory by SFC84 or the STEP 7 function "Copy RAM to ROM...".

I am asking this because some times due to some manual interventions the machine looses its continuity, and it doesnt reaches its home postion because some retentive bits are still in set condition.So ie y i asked if i do reset as you said, all these bits will get reset? and no other data in db will be lost right?

But using start up OBs you can assign to that M bits some "initial' values like in How can you change the startup and actual values only via the OP in such a way as to be immune to power failure and general reset?
