HMI Tag's "Value Change" -event doesn't work

I seem to have a problem with the HMI Tag's Value Change -event in TIA Portal v15.1.

If I assign an Edit Bit -function to be triggered by another tag's Value Change -event, it doesn't work. I've managed to get the value change event working only by assigning the tag to a switch element, but not with a button with Edit Bit -function of the same tag. It's hard to explain, but please see the pictures below so you might catch what I mean.

In the first picture you can see how I've assigned the tags. The Switch -element and the button change the state of the "button" -tag, and the value change of this tag triggers Invert Bit of "bit".

In Picture 2 I've pressed the switch, and you can see how the state of "button" changed to 1, as well as the "bit", triggered by the value change of "button".

In Picture 3 I've pressed the button and the value of "button" changes to 1, but "bit" remains 0.

I've tried rebuilding the project, removing the IM files, but nothing seems to fix this issue.

I did the same program in TIA portal V15.0 and it seems to work, so might this be a glitch related only to v15.1?

you cannot use the ChangeValue event of an internal tag, only of PLC-tags.

Next time attach pictures to the post, please, instead of linking.

My apologies for improper attachment of the images.

I just tried the same program by connecting the tags to PLC and it seems to work. It's still strange that if the tag is assigned to a switch, it works even with internal tags. And in older versions it works with buttons too.

But thank you anyways.

Test it, change these properties with a connection, and then go back to local.

I tried that out, doesn't seem to work.

It makes no difference if it is Cyclic continuous or Cyclic in Operation in your case. Tag will update when you use it on active screen even if it is PLC tag.. 

Setting is grayed out for a reason in internal tags. No need it is internal.

I just noticed that in my other v15 project, which has TP1200 comfort panel as configured hardware, the value change triggering doesn't work. In my KTP400 basic panel software it works.

I'll try with KTP400 + v15.1 tomorrow and report results.
