Which WinCC (TIA Portal) do you use in your Project? RT Advanced? RT Professional? A Panel?

For WinCC Advanced (/Comfort/Basic) you have two options: use the media player control (for video files) or use the graphic I/O-filed with several single pictures and a tag to coordinate how and how fast they are shown. (A third Option might be to use the web browser control, but I'm not sure.)

It somewhat depends on what you want to do.

Is your animation a GIF file?

If you have the GIF file broken out in to a series of BMP's you can then import them to WinCC as a Graphics List.

On your screen, insert a Graphic IO field and point it to your graphics list - then create an internal INT tag and assign that to the Graphic IO field too.

To animate the picture, all you then need to do is change the value of the tag.

If you want this to be automatic, then just use the "SimulateTag" function on the the Screen Loaded event.
