How can I update the OPC client application in order to make it together with newer PLC firmwares?

Hello guys,

I have similar problem and I really found out, that with the OPC client UA expert, there is everything like I expect.

However with my OPC client, which I wrote based on the Siemens example, there are no variables in the tree visible, while I try to explore the server's content. PLC is S71500 family (I tried 1510, and 1516) with firmware 2.6. With older firmware 2.1 was everything OK. Probably downgrade of firmware wold solve the problem, but I don't want to do it forever.

Don't you know if there is any way, how can I update the OPC client application in order to make it together with newer PLC firmwares? I'm thinking for example about update of Opc.Ua.Client.dll ...

I’m not sure but this problem could be solved with the update 2 of STEP 7 (TIA Portal) V15.1. After installation save and compile complete the program and repeat the download.
