HOW DOES THE CHOPPER ACTIVE IN THE S120

Drives_Coach Posts: 133 Rating: (12)	On theblocksize PM340 the internal braking chopper is preset so no programming is needed once the specified braking resistor is wired in. The only necessary precaution is to wire theresistorthermal switch back to the drive to be evaluated to prevent consequential damage if the braking resistor overheats.

Drives_Coach Posts: 133 Rating: (12)	r204 is a display parameter and bit 8can be ignoredfor PM340 Leave the Vdc controller disabled with the default value in p1240. The internal braking chopper will come on at the preset limit from the factory for that model.
