Hi! I’m thinking to use a pneumatic valve control system delivered from Burkert which can be integrated in ET200S Profibus DP node (example here: http://burkert.no/products_data/datasheets/DS8644-Siemens-EU-EN.pdf ) Does some one have experience with that kind of combination? Normally I like to work just with Siemens equipment to be sure that everything works together, but Siemens doesn’t produce (or I don’t know any) modules for direct control of pneumatic valves so I’m looking for other supplier. Burkert have such for AS-i and ET200S, but I’m uncertain if there could be some problems with this common system Siemens + Burkert. Can you give me advice should I be suspicious or just buy the equipment? Thank you!!!

Hi. I don't know thisBürkertequipment yet, because I've used for more then 5 years the CPX module (CPV pneumatic valve) from Festo. But CPX modules aren't integrated (same rack) with ET200S. It seems interesting... Concerning if you should be suspicious about this equipment I don't see reasons, because in the ET200S brochure this integration is mentioned. New question published by FritzV is split to a separate thread with the subject Need to setup a Bürkert 8644 valve island associated with a ET200S PN STD - How is the TIA setup?. Best regards |
