How many digital junction box Siwarex DB can I connect to WP351 ?

Can I connect 2 Siwarex DB through RS-485 to one WP351 ?? Thank´s in advance Best Regards

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 10/15/2024 Posts: 1147 Rating: (175)	Hello litos97, Unfortunately it’s not possible to connect 2 Siwarex DB through RS-485 to one WP351. Up to now, you can NOT connect a Siwarex DB to a WP351 module. You can connect one Siwarex DB to a Siwarex WP321 or WP231 module. To one Siwarex DB, you can connect up to 4 load cells. We are trying to do it but on the web server we cannot select, in DR10, the Siwarex DB option. It stays on Analog Loadcells. Do you have an idea why? Thanks,

Please check the firmware-version in DR9 of your WP351 module. If you don’t have the V1.1.0 on your WP351, install this firmware via the TIA Portal in the device configuration. Go online, and choose “Online & Diagnostics” of your WP351 module. You can find the latest firmware V1.1.0 on the internet here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109780019 Best regards Siwarexi

monkeyjacob Advanced Member Joined: 8/24/2010 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 30 Rating: (1)	The Siwarex card WP351 is installed on a ET200SP (IM155 6ES7155-6AU01-0BN0). This ET200SP is used in a PCS7 project, then this ES200SP is connected to a S7-400 CPU. The PCS7 used Step7 for the programmation. For the upgrading, I can use Step7 (PCS7 project) or TIA Portal v16. I've tried with TIA Portal : I was able to go online on the Siwarex Card but the upgrade function was not showed. With TIA Portal, I went online on the ET200SP and I was able to see the upgrade function. On the WP351, I've activated the Web Server for the configuration but I didn't see a way to make an upgrade. Let me know if you have an idea how to do... Thanks in advance
