I need to know how often the data transfer between drive and drivecliq encoder occurs. I have S-120 (servo) + drivecliq encoder in my setup. Let's say that p115[1] for speed controller is 1000.0 us and p115[5] for positioning is 4000.0 us. Does it means that every 1 ms data exchange between module and encoder occurs to receive velocity feedback? I think it only means that this position loop (error, P controller ) is calculated by internal DSP. Does the drivecliq interface check that encoder is really connected to drive module (cycling live bit or something)? Basically I want to lower the transmission rate as much as possible. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
