You need a master for communication If you want exchange data between two S7 200 is not possible, cannot exchange data over Profibus.

EM277 is profibus DP module .. which is connect to s7200 PLC to send data over Profibus communication to another PLC system or DCS system .... this module addressing configuring in GSD file which installed in hardware where this Data through EM277 required.... Example: if we need data from S7200 plc to S7300 then GSD file of EM277 is installed in hardware configuration n also Data address confiure which data required from s7-200..

If you search with my name and em277. You will find some examples. Or if you can wait i post it later. Regards, Marcjan

12hh Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	We have CP5611 card which we installed in our PC and also we have S7200 PLC on which we installed EM 277 module. So can you please share the procedure of acquiring the data from EM277 to CP5611 through profibus network.
