How to Configure two S7-300 Stations & 2 Touch Panels on a Profibus Network

Shams Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	I have two 313C-2DP CPU's and two Touch Panels 270 and I want to connect these into Profibus Network . J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello Mohtesham, actually I would say the best thing is to put all these nodes into one Project in STEP 7. If you have a current Project already running where you want to add these nodes to please add them to this Project. This is necessary to get a valid Bus profile that works with all nodes on the Network. This Profile has also to be transferred to all stations. I hope this could help you. Best regards J_Bell

@JesperMP Posts: 54 Rating: (5)	Hi Motesham, As J_Bell said, you should put everything into one STEP7 project (integrated). Then to "see" if everything is connected in the proper way, open up the integrated project in NetPro. Everything must be connected to the same Profibus network. Use the compile function to check everything. Good luck.

Shams Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Dear J Bell, Yeah I have added the other node in the same step-7 project and I have configured them for Master- Slave communication. And for Touch panels i have configured for Profibus communication and added the 2 controllers in TP project to monitor and controlboth the plc's on profibus. Thanks alot for your suggestion.
