how to connect external signal in Drive ?

Sorry I do not have a sample program but this function could easily be accomplished with the traversing task in the basic positioner of the S110 or S120.First you start the drive, then you enable the traversing function in the postioner. You only need two of the traversing block to do this task. The first block command calls for endlessmovement (positive or negative direction commands available)at the specified velocity until the external input is active. The next block is a relative position call the distance you want to move. The details would be in the Closed Loop Position control in the Function Manual (FH1) or STARTER help under Traversing Blocks.

Finally problem got resolved and S110 with S7-1200 and KTP working at Unilever Bangladesh with print mark registration. Siemens hotline has not given confidence to work with CU 305 for such application.

Now, We can help other user with CU305 for Horizontal pouch packing machine including printmark correction through VFD.
