How to overide Velocity? please explain

We have Encoder connected to PLC S7 1200 and want to control V90 Speed (Velocity) with reference to Encoder input to PLC.

We have Encoder connected to PLC S7 1200 and want to control V90 Speed (Velocity) with reference to Encoder input to PLC.

The S7-1200 does not have built-in gearing functionality. Making your own might not deliver the performance (reaction time) you need. Consider detailing what do you need it for or consider if (for example) a 20ms lag is still okay for you.

Consider also to have a conversation in the Sinamics conference. Focus there on asking if you can do the gearing within the V90 drive. This would give the best performance.
