I cant use the PLC UDT in my faceplate

Hi, I am using WIn CC Professional v13 UPd1 but I cant use the PLC UDT in my faceplate. I doest appear

Have you copy the UDT file into the project library and called it in the Faceplate?

Old post but not clearly answered. I was facing the same issue by following the tutorial given by Siemens.

To use PLC UDT in faceplate directly you have to place the UDT in the project library. (V13 SP1 up9)

I still have the same problem. Strange enough, but only with certain UDTs.

I have Step 7/WinCC Advanced V13 SP1 Upd9.

I have 3 UDTs. In the faceplate, ony 2 can be selected as type of the property. See the attached screenshot.

All three are created in the project and then moved to the project library. I think it is also weird that one of them has a different color for the symbol than the other two. They seem like greyed out a little. But it is only the one greyed out UDT that cannot be selected.

I am really getting frustrated with this...

 Asked the question and found the answer right afterwards :)

I have 2 PLCs in my project, one 315-2 and one 1510SP. Only the UDTs created in the 1510 can be used in the faceplace. 
I have added the UDT created in the 1510 to a DB in both 315 and 1510. But noen of them can be connected to the faceplace as HMI tag so far.

Update:
I can use the UDT from the DB in the 1510 PLC as HMI Tag. But not from the 315 :(

Same here with old 315 and TPconfort1200.

I'm Using tutorials, but UDT created inside PLC cant be chosen as properties in faceplates.

But if you create a UDT with the same structure as the one in PLC, it appears in properties.
