Identification of firmware for ADDFEM with order number 6DL3100-8AC

Irkal Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I have four ADDFEM with same MLFB number 6DL3100-8AC and somebody has loaded a firmware for SOE and POCO into two of them. Now I don't know which two of them are having firmwares? Can you help me to find which ADDFEM is having which firmware?

I was not aware that the standard AddFEM (6DL3100-8AC) can be upgraded to AddFEM SoE (6DL3100-8AC03) or AddFEM PoCo (6DL3100-8AC02). For both these FEF's the configuration is done via HW config and CFC channel drivers (see attachment). Additional hardware neededper order numbers above. Regards Attachment AddFEM.pdf (293 Downloads)

Irkal Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Firmware is loaded with PG via profibus cable. ---------------------------------------- There are three types of hardware MLFB numbers for AddFEM. (1) A general MLFB number with simple I/O functions. But we can extend it to SOE and PoCo by manually installing the respective firmware. (6DL3100-8AC) (2)MLFB number strictly for SOE (6DL3100-8AC03) (3)MLFB number strictly for PoCo (6DL3100-8AC02) We are having 6DL3100-8AC with manually loaded firmwares in our DCI-SIT. Now we have not marked the firmware loaded on each of them.In this situation, what is the remedy for identification of firmware on respective AddFEM. Also I don't have PG/PC toload firmware again.

Irkal Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I think that you have got confused with what I am looking in. I know that in HW config, we can see the order number of AddFEM. This is ok. Just to make it simple: What are the ways that we can see the firmware of AddFEM. This is only for 6DL3100-8AC.

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	The firmware version is not visible in the module information (unlikefor normal ET200M modules etc.). Since I haven't used PoCo & SoE, I was assuming these order numbers show up in the module information. I suggest you contact Siemens tech support if there is a way of finding out the firmware version. Sorry couldn't be of more help... Regards

Is this issue still open ?? b'cause when you want to order new ADDFEM module 6DL3100-8AC with A&D. The question about exisiting firm ware is asked. Where to check firmware is still a mistery???
