If I create new type in Alarm Logging I cant see new Message Type in Simatic Manager.

vimin Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	dilipan chakravarthy dear all We are using PCS7 V7.0 When we create new message class in PCS7 wincc project as Motor trip, its not updating in process object view we are able to select only the default given by PCS7 like alarm-low,alarm-high and etc if we want to add newmessage classin process object view , please tell us what to do regards dilipan I have same problem. I want that my CFC block generate analog alarms and alams by discrete signal. If I create new type in Alarm Logging I cant see new Message Type in Simatic Manager. Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi vimin, The PCS7 standard blocks have various message classes configured and in most cases you do not have to do anything further. For custom blocks in PCS7 you call the Alarm_8P blocks and assign the message class in block properties. The link in your post describes how to create message classes manually when you are not using PCS7. Regards
