Have a look on this FAQ. You must do it simillar, but select a address between 0 and 63 in HW Config for the new words in the telegram. (only this addresses anbe read with MC-ReadPeriphery) You must define this extention in HE Config and in SimoComU. Use MC_ReadPeriphery to read the data into the PLC part of the T-CPU. |

Good day, Miami. I have made some corrections in a technology inputs addressing. Now MC_ReadPriphery/ MC_WritePriphery functions use message frame tech addresses correctly in a continuous working cycle. Technology bytes addresses are pointed from 51 to be readied by MC function. It seemed to me strange, that in SimoComU Profibus diagnostic the additional message words in Sanding frame are empty. Or it is a software feature for words displaying, when they are out of standard frame? (Please, look an attachment) I can’t watch tech bytes with additional words and use it my project. Is a SIMATIC Manager Software has some Monitoring/Modify interface for technological I/O? MC_ReadPriphery function only uses addressing type like P#DB100.DBX 0.0 WORD 3. There’s no other ways to use additional words. How can I process an additional message words after the MC_ReadPriphery function not as HW Limit switches (which use some bits from tech I/O’s like limit switches)? With best regards, Maxim.
