Hello ROCLIM, May I know why you are going to inhibit logic processing in user program?! I just get confused and when I get so I return to the beginning and the beginning is WHY. A start-up mode means that the master CPU is starting up by going in either OB100 or OB102. It means you don't need to disable code processing in OB1 and OB3X because they are not even being called at this time. Once start up is finished, it goes in RUN (Single mode) before going in link up and update modes. In link up and update modes, your program (except OB with special handling) is kept in hold until CPUs finish these 2 modes. Of course you will find more detailed information in S7-400H manual (Chapter 8 & 9). A self test is another story. There are 2 types of self test, one that'sperformed afterpowering the CPUs without backup batteries. It takes about 10 mins or more and In this test, the CPUs (If I remember well) do not process any little thing. The other type of self test is performed cyclically. The whole test is splitin test slices that run in the background and doesn't bother program processing. You can't disable your code if there's a self test or your CPUs will never process your code. You can control this self test (I do not recommend) by disabling some test components. You can read more under SFC90 (H_CTRL) in System Software for S7-300/400 System and Standard Functions Volume 1 and Volume 2 Best regards. H-H |
