Input in program not getting signal on I1.0 - I2.7

Hello,

I have the same problem.

Digital input are defined in the program as I1.0 - I3.7 and when i give +24V DC on input terminal, LED lights turn ON but the input in program isnt getting signal on I1.0 - I2.7, and on I3.0 - I3.7 im getting OK readings.

And outputs are OK too.

Anyone solved this problem?

Split from CPU314C-2PN/DP problem with inputs DI 0.0 to 0.7 and DI 1.0 to 1.7.

I'm sending you pictures with hardware configuration.

1. Marked yellow - Inputs are 3.0 - 3.7 and they are working fine

2. Marked red - Inputs 1.0 - 2.7, probably. They dont work, i dont get signal to program that inputs are active. LED on plc is blinking at the input when i give it +24VDC.

3. Marked green - Outputs - working fine

I'm writing new PLC program, i didnt modify it. I only changed default inputs on hardware in TIA, I124. to I1.0 (described above).

Is it software problem, or is it hardware fault?

I mixed up, defaults are from I 136, but that isnt important right now.

I tried with default values and again it is the same. That all row of inputs (16 DI) doesnt reacting, only LEDs is turning ON.

On which terminals, do you connect:

24 vdc and M?  (please terminal numbers)

I'm sending you picture how it is connected.

DI connection:

M (0V DC) was connected on terminal 20 for DI from terminal 2 - 19. On terminal 3 i connect my input which gives +24V DC. LED on the terminal is blinking = terminal 3 = I136.1 (i think it should be this one, defined in TIA). On other terminals situation is the same.

Terminal 21 - 30 are OK = DO.

21 = +24VDC, 30 = M (0V DC)

Hi ThompsonK from your picture and the diagram of the module, you've got to have +24vdc on terminals (1,21 and 31) and -ve 24vdc on terminals (20,30 & 40) on the module, confirm that you've got it wired up like this, try again and tell us.

valbright39 and Ayman Elotaify thank you. You guys were right. I should connect terminal 1 (1L+) and then i get signal at input on terminals, like u guys said.

It is shown on wiring diagram on module too.
