Hi PMD987, we have a lot of experience on the IOT2050 with ROS 1 and ROS 2. Since you are talking about ROS, I assume you are using the first one. Which version are you planning to use? Regarding Noetic, you can install it natively on the example image as follows:
Take a look at this NodeRED Module to interact with ROS Noetic. Speaking of ROS 2, we have to rely on Docker as ROS 2 is not currently available as a pre-build solution for ARM platforms. Building it from source is possible, but not recommended. If you decide to go the ROS 2 way, please let us discuss the options for integrating a solution into NodeRED in more detail here. BR |
