Installing PCS7 v8.1, 'access is denied'

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install PCS7 v8.1 in my PC with specification windows 7 proffessional 32 bit system. While extracting the setup file I am getting a pop up saying access is denied.

Please suggest.

What do you mean with "extracting the setup file"? Have you clicked the Setup.exe in the root of DVD 1?

Our original project version was PCS7 v8.0 Sp1 but due to some bugs our product got upgraded but without original installer DVD. So when we click on .exe file first it gets extreacted & then installed. We have installed in 2 machines but this 3rd machine is giving this problem.

Please find the attached screenshots & suggest any solutions.

I have copied these files first in local machine & then started the installation process.

Have you tried copying the setup files again to your system? Sometimes a file gets corrupt while copying.
