Integrate 6Sl3 120-1TE13-0AA4 in TIA Portal

Hello,

1.) S120 is not supported in TIA Portal

2.) the object is a Motormodule and can't not integrated in the Catalog (never)

3.) you can install the GSD or GSDDML file of the Control unit you use and configure the Communication between the PLC and the drive with this but the commissioning of the sinamics drive (SINAMICS S) must be done in STARTER!

to which other devices the module is connected?

there should be a DRIVECliQ cable wired from the top of the module (4ports) to another device, theis can be the CU (Order number beginning with 6SL3040 ;) )

Or make a picture of the installation   and we show if there is a cu or not.

Hello,

for this module you should use a CU320-2.

Here you can choose between CU320-2 DP and CU320-2 PN, the CU320-2 DP can extend with a CBE20 for PROFINET, the CU320-2 PN have PROFINET Onboard but no PROFIBUS.

Note that you also need a Line Module for this drive Systenm for the DC Bus of the Motormodule, the motormodule can't wired directly to the AC Power!

You should use the tool Sizer for Siemens Drive to design the system and find the right components and cables and so.
